TraceLink has launched what it calls an agentic supply chain control tower built specifically for healthcare. The platform is designed to go beyond alerting teams to supply chain problems and instead help coordinate the response — autonomously initiating workflows, surfacing recommendations, and connecting stakeholders when disruptions occur.
The launch reflects a wider push in healthcare supply chain technology toward AI systems that don't just flag issues but take action. Traditional control towers in other industries have long offered visibility dashboards; the healthcare version has lagged, partly due to regulatory complexity and the high stakes of drug and device availability. Agentic AI — systems that can pursue multi-step goals with limited human prompting — is now being applied to close that gap.
